Girlified

That title is what we like to call a hook. And boy is it appropriate. For those of you who haven't been to my house, my parents have their own bathroom (important point for later) and then there is another bathroom that the three brothers use. Well, since I'm not here very often, except to sleep, I sometimes notice new things similarly to the way I reacted to new things when I returned from Israel. And the newest thing to notice is this:

Also, the toothbrush holder is one of this set. Now tell me, what kind of men's bathroom is this? Please, rise up with me and call my mother blessed. . . and then (kindly) demand a change! Can't this be a "guest-only" decoration set? I (along with Scott and Trevor) are horrified at this change! To make it worse, my mom's bathroom is a lot less "girly" than ours now. Alas, time does not permit me to elaborate, but please. . . HELP!!!

  • Yah, Aunt Robin, that is not going to work. Andrew doesnt have a feminine side. Personally, i don't think those decorations will go more than a month before an "unfortuanate accident" suddenly destroys them irrevocably.

    I personally don't see much of a problem with it and I don't understand why all the fuss about a BATHROOM. Silly boys. Does it make you feel less masculine when you return your toothbrush to a holder with flowers on it?

    Hahaha... I find this all very amusing. So you want your mom to take all that down and put it back up when a guest comes? What if someone stops by unexpectedly? What then? After all you've said about not being picky, I really don't see what the problem is!

  • Wow, girls really dont get guys do they? of course it makes us less manly to use a flower toothbrush holder! We are the male race! we are supposed to be concentrating on violence, and fixing/breaking things, and on sports, not on flowers! it totally throws off our concentration! To be this full of testosterone requires perfect concentration, not flowers.

  • I think it is a very pretty bathroom Happy :).... and dont worry... soon enough you will be back in Hotckiss sharing a bathroom with 15 other guys.... and i have heard that is not a pretty sight, or smell:). I think you should enjoy this while you still can!!

  • The more I look at these pictures, the more I like the "girlified" set. Like most of your other female comentators, I think it's a positive thing. Think character-building... And to Ms. Gilmore, beautiful choice! :-)
