No April Fools today
I'm sitting in the library for another FULL day of New Testament Survey II outlines. Don't get me wrong, I love Dr. Halstead's class and I promised myself that I wouldn't graduage from The Master's College without taking one of his classes. I entered the semester knowing full well that these outlines would be tough and so it's no one's fault but my own that I'm sitting here all day. I guess this is just another lesson in getting work done early and working on things little by little instead of waiting till they are due.
Right now I 'm looking for a job and I think I want to be a teacher at Christian school. I'm pretty sure that I want to get my credential and a masters degree in education. Please pray for me as I look for a job in these last few weeks of school and figure out furthering my education. Of course I am financially concerned about the future and how that will play out in the wedding, getting a place to stay, planning to pay off debt, etc.
OK, back to work.

um, there is a GREAT christian school out here where my kids attend. They are always looking for new teachers :) and an athletic director (hint hint)
And if you came out this way, Cabot could have a friend to play with! He really misses you!
just a thought! (a selfish one!)

Jen... you are so subtle... ;-)
We would love to be in New England, but we'll see where the Lord leads us and what He provides. We'll more than likely be out here for at least a little while, especially as Happy is thinking of getting his teaching credential and masters degree. But do keep us in your prayers! There are lots of decisions to be made in the next few months and time is flying by!

A teacher eh? and what will you teach this children about family values? that its ok to ditch family reunions? that its ok to miss special event such as easter egg hunts? Pray tell, good sir, what kind of example does that set for the little ones? That they should break their grandmother's heart willy nilly? Hm? Oh my dear boy, you could have been great. But now i will simply have to destroy you. Amy has asked that i do so before the wedding, and in honor of her, i will do so. Your time is coming, oh yes it is.

PS:
Dear Jen, i dont actually know who you are, but i have to add that there is no way i am letting them out of california. None. And trust me, i have a say in these matters. Have a nice day!

OK Mike, but do you see that Happy hasn't said no to my kids request! maybe they have a little pull! :)
BUT, he did steal Amy from Cabot! hmm...maybe it could be a peace offering if they moved out here! Really NE isn't that far!

Jen, dont try to fool me, i can read a map: NE is clear on the other side of the country! But listen, i am an understanding guy, and i see the dilemma. So how about this: we let them move to the midwest. Chicago maybe? i have always wanted to visit Chicago and if they live there, now i will have a reason. So i think somehwere in the midwest would be the ideal. That way, they are smack dab in the middle.

Mike, I don't know about that. I have 6 kids and travel isn't cheap! They would all want to see them when we visited so lets say maybe NY. That is not NE. and is sort of midwest. (right?)
Oh and Hi Happy, you are blogging early today!

Oh wait! thinking about that, it won't help with my kids school so they would have to be in NH. We need a teacher like Happy and an AD. he fits the bill! so sorry Mike. I guess Happy and Amy just need to decide!

HA! Let Andrew and Amy decide, good one Jen. Listen, i am a willing to say NY if we are talking NYC, but only in the NYC. That would just be cool. Cant you bus your kids into NYC from NH? Its really not that long of a drive is it? I mean, its not that i am worried. If you and I had to go toe to toe for Andrew and Amy i am darn sure i would win. But honestly, battles like that are exhausting and a little expensive. So i think we should at least try to come to some sort of an agreement>

Wow... I'm glad to hear that you both have plans for Happy and my life. :-)
Mike, I'm not so sure you'd win that battle. You don't know Jen! I mean, it takes a pretty amazing woman to have SIX children! Think about that before you go making assumptions.... She may be at the wedding and you will have to watch out!

ok, listen: i respect Amy, for it is a fool who doesnt respect his foe. And i never understimate my adversary. Never. So i respect her (hi Jen!). But still, i think i would fare pretty well. You havent seen my battle mode self Amy (and let it be known, you will: Andrew Gilmore if you are reading this, there will be a reckoning!). I am the Michael Parker who did the Kessel Run in 5.6 Parsecs; the same Michael Parker who (with some small help form A.G.) defeated those Dark Forces, and Commanded an army that Conquered and pillaged. And i am the Michael Parker who shot wild indians with one Andrew Gilmore. Now, no doubt, 6 children is quite a feat. But come on...
