Life After Israel

5 months, 0-3, and the coming of Spring Break

Sorry that once again it has been a week since I have posted on this oft-viewed Blog.

Today marks five months that Amy and I have been dating. Without a doubt, it has been the very best five months of my life. I'm so thankful to God for bringing us together while in Israel and he continues to sustain our relationship. She is amazing!

So last night my intramural team was trying to win our first game of the season, since we lost our first two games. We were playing Hotchkiss Upper Front (a way more talented team than mine) and we got down 21-2 early on. That's right 21-2!! We clawed our way back into the game and after I hit a three-pointer with three minutes left, we only trailed by two. Alas, we could not complete the comeback and ended up losing 48-42. I had 20 points. If we don't start winning, there's no way we'll make the playoffs.

Spring Break starts Friday after classes. Me and 11 other guys are driving up to Yosemite National Park on Sunday morning to stay until Friday. Our bare bones that we call "plans" are in desperate need of some flesh. Friday and Saturday will consist of a flurry of getting items together and packing vehicles. Unfortunately, Half-Dome will not be open to the public, so that is a major disappointment. I was most looking forward to climbing it again, after conquering the mighty rock three years ago. Oh well.

OK, back to studying here in the library!

  • ... i do believe it is the 6 months that you are supposed to celebrate... i mean 5 months is great, but it isnt 1/2 a year. dont get me wrong, if i was you i would be throwing a party everyday, i dont need to tell you how lucky you are. but yeah, 6 months it he general announcement date. Oh well, you were always a little strange. Question: did you hack into your girlfriends account? Also, i cant help but notice your gameplay happens to mirror a certain professional team that dare i say it, will not make the playoffs....name starts with an L and ends with an "akers"
    anyhoo...
